Unironically Awoved has a lot in common with Morrowind: you arrive on a ship to a strange land as an envoy from jungle Empire; you seem to exhibit some powers that uniquely tie to indigenous beliefs, granted to you by a true God(?) to battle an illness that plagues local populace; you arrive at the shore of a port town, with familiar architecture, while over places on the island are inhospitable wastelands, swamps, volcanic mounts, magical shrooms and ruins of the mysteriously vanished ancient atheist civilization, with superior technological level; the main antagonist is wearing a mask with glowing eyes and supposed to be dead; the game itself very different from previous installments in the series, leaning toward 3D action than CRPG, directed by other people and targets the audience of XBox gamers. Her[Carie’s] favorite games are Dishonored, Morrowind and Mass Effect
Tldr: Feargus was right, Avowed isn’t obsidian’s Skyrim, it’s obsidian’s Morrowind! (probably going to be boring slop regardless)
