I think that was just a place holder for something that was not quite ready yet.

Of course it is, but is not encouraging. They will please the console crowd and strip the game from anything that dungeonfags would expect in a dungeon crawler.

I have played many dungon crawler blobbers from BT1 to LoG2, but to be honest i dont know what you mean with "strip the game from anything that dungeonfags would expect in a dungeon crawler", because i'm not a dungonfag. If you mean puzzles then i'm currently worried too, because it seemed a bit on rails with the bard song and so for the bridge.
If you mean designing all party members then i have to state, that i give shit about this, because it can be also fun to find party members that fit into the party and the users play style, like in most of the cRPGs.
Btw.:They have also confirmed that this is just an placeholder under the video in youtube.
