I was away when all those pics and shit arrived on the internet... My reaction yesterday was similar to the one I had when nicolai linked me to http://tinyurl.com/89ox

Laughter and disgust.

good job fighting the good fight over at SA btw.

I'm doing it for all the heroes. :salute:

Really it's sort of bizarre. They talk about NMA existing in an echo chamber where no other opinions can register, and then they say that conjecture has no value. What's the point of the thread then if all they're supposed to do is say "looks good" "looks awesome" "I dunno" "looks like crap?" It's like they have more interest in talking about NMA than actually talking about Fallout 3. It's like a bizarro NMA, only you replace hate for Bethesda with hate for... NMA. It dominates every single thread about Fallout.

I also think the threatening of NMA happened around the time NMA quoted something a Beth dev said in the SA Forums as news and SA claimed that it threatened his livelihood... even though he said it in a public forum.

Yeah, the funniest part about that was that he had a message in his profile telling people not to quote him, which Kharn (iirc) couldn't read since he isn't a subscriber or sponsor or whatever.

I don't think that is ment to be taken seriously.

It's amazing how little Josh Sawyer has managed to get. First he thinks laser gatlings validate the most impractical shit like the nuke-a-pult, and now he's comparing traveling 3000 miles over an irradiated wasteland to the Polynesians sailing across the Pacific.

There are few forums out there for which this is true, but... NMA > SA. Something Awful is a retard hole.
