Bloodlines: Indoor walking speed problem

Ever since I got hit by a belial's green projectile thingy in the Warrens, my indoor running/walking/sneaking speed has slowed down to the point where it's highly frustrating to use sneaking anymore, and it's essential for some missions. I just did the Kamikazi Zen hacking mission, and I was incredibly frustrated by the slowness of my character.

Is this a bug, or are belial projectiles supposed to permanently slow me down? At any rate, is there a console command I can use to return my speed to normal (such as pc.speed_function("some value"))?

Could you be a bit more precise? I don't mind the spoilers, but I certainly don't have any rings on me now (and I've never found anything but the generic rings at any rate).

For the record, I've just entered Chinatown and spoken to Ming.

They're being retarded as per usual. Just read some of the other threads in Spoilers to get the hint, Sammael.

As for your problem, it's likely a bug. I don't recall ever really being slowed down like that in the game.

Okay, in all seriousness, it's a bug, and you can't fix it. There's no fix for it. A few people reported it on PlanetVampire but there's no workaround or fix to it, aside from loading to a point before the bug occured.

My solution? Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> Uninstall Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines

The state of insanity.
Yes. Uninstall because it would be bashing Troika which apparently is the in thing to do according to Exitium.

Just go back to a previous save and try again. Don't let the Flip Flopper Of Doom ruin a good game for you. Sure it has bugs, but it's still good.

Loading a previous game is not an option, as I am WAY past that point now. I am not going to uninstall, but I suppose all the points I put into being stealthy are now wasted.

Have you tried console commands "-speed" and "+speed"?
