hehe, since I've been banned from #fallout for no apparent reason... I figured this was the next best place to ask for help:

By the way, This Might Contain Unwanted Spoilers:

I killed the tsimizi in the mansion and am on my way to look for the nosferatu in these sewers. I'm at the part where I jump down through a moving fan into a gigantic round room leading to a series of what seems to be a maze of sewers. I've explored everywhere but the only other room of note I found was another giant round room with what seems like a door on the floor and a control mechanism on a small pantry to the side. But the control mechanism seems to be locked. I don't know what to do. Help?

(BTW, someone unban me from #fallout please, or give me a half convincing reason on why I got banned)

Hahahahahahah my apologies. I thought this was where help for general (read: non-RPG) games go! I guess I deserve an Illiterate tag for that.

Oh well, live a little, learn a little. Thanks for the heads up, however.

Behind you.
I'm in those sewers as well, and they definitely suck nuts. However, I'm in this room that starts off with a bunch of electrical stuff zapping the water and such because the electricity is on. I got the electricity off, and there's this pump switch. It seems I can turn off the pumps, but the reserviors empty when I do that. If the pump is on, I can't swim to the reserviors. There's no other way out of this big room.

You have to turn on the pump and then quickly jump into the water and start swimming down the tube. The pump takes a while to start and you can swim down the pipe and into the reservoir before it starts to pull you back.

I have a question about a quest that was long before the Hollywood sewer part.

There was a quest that the black anarch vamp in "the last round" bar gave to you about dealing with a ghoul who was being loud about her missing master. I led her out to an alley and I sucked her dry. But I was reading a review or preview somewhere where it said "and you can even have your own ghoul" or something along those lines. Is that talking about her? If so, do you need good persuasion or seduction to get her? Or maybe I didn't explore the options I had as my Gangrel?

Thanks, this has bothered me each time I see her body in a downtown alley.

Naah, the attention whore isn't the ghoul. At the clinic in Santa Monica you can let an injured chick drink your blood and she will find you later in the downtown area.

Ah thanks. Is she in the waiting room in the front?

You don't have to kill her. Just convince her that her sire has moved to San Francisco (?) and she'll leave town. Quest complete. And the ghoulable chick is in the VERY first room past the reception desk in the Santa Monica clinic.

Yeah, after I got out of that hellhole of sewers I went looking for the ghoulable. I guess I missed my chance, can't find her. Oh well, I just got to china town, so I'm guessing I'm about to finish it, so I'll just try again on another run through it.

You'll have to persuade her to go to San Diego. However I'm not sure when you actually get this option (maybe after unlocking Hollywood or some level of persuasion is required?). I prefer one of the alternative solutions. I sent her to the cellar of the old hospital saying her sire was organizing some rave there. This option became available after I had cleared the old hospital of the reporter and met Pisha (Sabbat aligned Tisceme something flesh eating vampire) down in the cellar there.

Pisha will have some nice dialog about the "attention whore" you sent to her when you visit her again afterwards.
