ShackNews offers up an interview with Todd Howard about Morrowind: Bloodmoon, and the future of the series/game. Here's a bit of the future:

Jason: Is Bloodmoon going to be the last expansion, or??

Todd: You know, until it's out and sells - then we'll have to see. It's hard to say right now. I think there's a good chance it will be. Just because I feel we've done enough with The Elder Scrolls III series. But it could be that if the demand is that high, that we'll do another one.

Given the hype around this one, I'm betting it won't be the last.

It's good to see Morrowind still alive and well. The mod community's still kicking and I think we can expect to see at least another expansion pack come out after this one. If there's anything I'd like to see to make Morrowind a complete experience for me - it'd be if they implemented actual dialogue trees.

You burning the midnight oil tonight or what, St?

Got a night off, so I'm hunting down CRPGs on the internet that I don't know about.

Haven't found anything interesting yet, though.

In that same interview they spoke of releasing Arena and Daggerfall together. They alresdy have Arena running under XP. It was stated that if they can't add enough bells and whistles they might release them for free downloading.
