Is it shit?
Get a cheap aimbot, buy a key from one of those shithole retailers for five bucks and have fun with all the screeching and immeasurable butthurt that will follow. That's what COD was, is and always will be.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
Is it shit?
No it's really good actually. They have implemented a lot of game design from the greatest rpg of all time Skyrim. There is now a lockpicking minigame and open world with dungeons and fast travel. Easy GOTY.

This... is Call of Duty now? Like, for real, that's actual footage? I'm sorry, I'm really not doing a bit here, I haven't had any interest in the pseudo-military online FPS genre since Medal of Honor was still a thing, I was just peripherally aware of big dogs CoD and Battlefield being these edgy, hardcore "bro shooters." I didn't know that had, uh... changed. It's discomforting to feel so out of touch.

im not even gonna bother explaining this shit for you its COD look it up yourself but basically COD was a joke for years, then in 2019 it decided to reboot Call of Duty 4 modern warfare which basically saved the franchise but the issue is it gave them the power to sink back into bad habits again

He's comparing the singleplayer of the old games with the multiplayer of the new games. (because he's hack)

Well, that looks more like what I thought CoD was. Actually, that trailer looks quite sharp for a five year-old game.

So CoD multiplayer was always The Outer Worlds with frags? And I thought I saw some singleplayer cringe in there too, but maybe I was wrong, I don't know the subject matter.

It's just weird. Feels like I'm gonna come out of the supermarket with a bag of toilet paper and zoomers will laugh at me for not knowing about the three seashells.

World at War was great.
But if you want more "realistic" military stuff you play Arma, but you probably already knew that.

I mean World At Wars multiplayer was kinda odd when you think about it, they were still trying the ideas they had from COD 3 with making really large maps with tanks. It also had some of the funniest fucking perk ideas in a COD ever.

https://callofduty.fandom.com/wiki/Shades#:~:text=Shades is a Tier 2,when attempting to kill them.

Im probably the only one of this site who really likes Modern Warfare 2019, the game was a step in the right direction that provided enough realism but also had great playability and visuals.

edgy, hardcore "bro shooters."
I wouldn't call them edgy, you're always on the side of the good guys trying to save humanity. Or hardcore, since they're all pretty arcade style. Dudebros want killstreaks, emotes for taunts and XP for prestige classes and leveling up your guns, which probably makes a military simulator fan's teeth itch.
Military Simulator fans teeth will itch if you as much as dare question Sgt. Lardass after the pilot in the helicopter happened to be flying in the wrong direction for the last 20 minutes.

World at War was more dark.
More dark than the other typical WW2 Allied hero fantasy.
Also had gore and potential dismemberment if you shoot someone with a high caliber MG.

It's not the comparison to the old game that makes me horrified. It's what the new game is that does. How can any human being willingly subject himself to that? If we for the sake of the argument assume that the multiplayer was the same in the older games, would that make it any less of an inexcusable crime against humanity?

It's not the first time I encounter the so called "dudebro" audience, but what's on display in that video is far more of a degradation of society than what I've seen from them before. Do you not experience an intense feeling of revulsion when you see that shit?

I don't know about the "dudebro" part, but Call of Duty was filled with annoying pre teens who used to rage and complain when they were getting pwned.
I imagine things aren't all that different now.

This change of style is so gross, especially considering that COD started at first, as an arcade shooter representing the horrors of war. COD World at War immediately comes to mind in which the soundtrack has screamings, weeping and terrifying sounds.

The theme blended with horror perfectly, they followed upon it with Black ops 1 but that's when it's started to suck.

My guess is that the early teams of COD were mostly men, now it's getting more and more women, trannies and fags.

Only world at war is like this every ww2 cod before It was highly sanitized Hollywood ww2. It’s ironic since technically world at war is Hollywood but it took more from the gritty ww2 movies at the time. Please don’t turn the best ww2 shooter into a Reddit tier war is bad essay.

The funniest part about the video are the butthurt comments accusing Crowbcat of being misogynistic

To be honest crowb is not even the first to this opinion I’m more puzzled these videos break millions of views and they seemingly kinda do nothing? It’s met with astounding agreement but cod makes another billion that year and they release another silly skin.

Is dead internet theory really true?

In terms of visuals, the multiplayer in the old games followed closely the singleplayer campaign. Nowadays the multiplayer is flooded with absurd skins: zombies, robots, dragons, magma people, cartoony characters, medieval soldiers, sharks, racoons... and they add a new bizzarre skin almost on a daily basis.

At first I thought it would bother me, but it's actually bearable if you dedicate your entire playtime to bullying the people who paid for these orrendous skins.
