It looks like they would use the original game with small modification, they add some new story, and animate sexual scenes. Basically something like sequel to Drakensang.

So you're telling me that W2 wouldn't have been a port PC users would have been lucky to see if the economy hadn't crashed and CDPRed had to scale back their ambitions?

I, for one, haven't forgotten 'Rise of the White Wolf', with CDPRed dropping PC so fast for console development as soon as they had enough money that it made mah head spin.

And, oh: Could the new Geralt model look any more 'focus-group approved manly console action hero'? They may have a new engine, but the NPCs from W1 looked way better than the XboXy bloom-drenched generic dude and dudette in this teaser video.

The Gauls started losing battles 2000 years ago and never stopped *co'x mindtrick*
The Norse either became frenchie Gauls, horse faced English or stayed Norse and spend all their time listening to metal.
The Gaelic are the worst of all. They spend their time ripping off American football, seceding from the british empire and eliciting their very own hate threads on the co'x.

Oh, and unless the combat and respawning of enemies is fixed in TW2, I'll pass.

Also I'm proud to say I'm more Gaidhilg than Gaelic in reality.

The footage is over; a guy played through a few scenes in the city and in the forest. Looked pretty INTENSE, but very similar to prettified TW1... though a big difference was that Geralt had two people to help him during the combat.

Almost no interesting questions / answers, though.

edit: OMG Geralt's face will have more than 3.000.000 polygons!


One tidbit: the game's made IN ENGLISH and will be translated to Polish and other languages during a later part of the production cycle.

But I really won't start caring about TW2 until some preview mentions non-respawning (or at least more sensibly respawning) enemies and better combat mechanics.
