Something like this would be the best option:

Surprisingly enough the above pic pretty much summarises the whole Codex. Memes come and go but the core idea of the Codex has been encapsulated in a couple of lines years before this place even existed. Avellone should probably play the lottery more often if he doesn't do so already.

And don't suggest anything Andhaira related, he is already there spamming shit. Don't give the faggot the satisfaction.

I'd prefer a monocle, preferably with some sort of subtle inscription or effect (It could be rose-tinted or make everything new look like shit.)

"Looking at the monocle takes your mind back to the simpler, better times. You might have not witnessed these times, but your mind takes you there regardless. As you attempt to equip the item, you realize that it is harder than you imagined, and the rest of the group laughs at you and suggests something simpler and more convenient, like glasses."

A frigorific. All the meat was stolen long ago, but one of the looters wasn't so lucky and managed to lock himself inside the freezer. The lock is difficulty rating 101%, so it is impossible to free him. He'll stay there forever

A little street with two butcher shops, strangely enough. One of the butchers obsessively cuts the meat in a thousand little pieces, his work never seems to end. The other accuses his rival of including too many spices on the meat, causing the original taste to disappear; however, if you buy his meat you'll find out there are human nipples on it
I actually got this one.

Fuck yeah I'm clever as fuck.

Wait, frigorific isn't an actual english word? fuck

the axes and scimitars' merchant is the most obtuse one, in retrospect. It's a reference to a single thread where codexers found out that these weapons are in the same skill tree in Grimoire.

Brian storm achieved!

copied from other suggestions thread:

Dont forget the RPG, which the Codex book could lead you to, if you have good enough skills - otherwise you dont get the clue to it - or you can get just a partial clue telling you a particular skill is too low to understand the glorious codex fully - so you know you can return once you improved that skill or skills - VOILA gameplay.
It would be just mysteriously described as "the ultimate weapon against the Great Decline and its drones." Could be hidden in the statue but not accessible until you managed to unlock appropriate parts of teh Codex.
The RPG itself could bear the name of : "Hard core" RPG engraved into it. Limited ammo though.

And the monocle artifact - which would work only with this ultimate weapon increasing chance to hit or similar stat.
