Here's hoping they reboot the franchise and pretend Dead Rising 2, 3 and 4 never happened.

Series has potential for better games. It's a very unique experience.

What are you talking about? 2 was great.
It was ok. Not bad but not as great as the first one.

There was something off about it.
Yeah I hated that they went in a new direction but fuck if scavenging for Zombrex to save my daughter wasn't compelling as fuck.

They went in the direction of lowering the quality. Look at how explosive and dynamic Franks running animations are compared to Chucks stiff jog. That quality difference is true at just about every level of the game. Try directly comparing how it feels to hit a zombie with a pipe in both games and you will be disgusted.

That's what happens when you outsource development to fucking leafs.

Looks like one of those Unreal Engine amateur "remake" demos on YouTube, like its a portfolio piece...

Accessibility could be anything. AI tweaks, new control scheme they've been talking about etc.

Yeah, although you could shoot and move in the original game too; you just couldn’t do it while manually aiming. Given that Dead Rising is a beat ‘em up, I wouldn’t be totally surprised if the third person manual aiming in Dead Rising was more an afterthought that was added because of Resident Evil 4.

I wonder if you’ll be able to go outside the mall in this one. Maybe not during the regular game, but at least in something like Infinity Mode. It seems like they’re doing quite a bit of work on the outside of the mall for it to not be something you ever access, and letting you have access in some new mode that isn’t the regular game would be a interesting addition.

What is it with some of these remakes aging up characters?. If there is a DLC costume that makes Frank look more like he did originally, why not just make that the default?. Isn't that the whole point?. Frank's look in Dead Rising 2 was bad for the same reasons.
