The real reason I just can't accept the cell shading unless the entire thing is truly built from the ground up to look painterly (like A Scanner Darkly, for instance) is because I don't want filters placed over what I'm looking it. It feels like my clear eyesight is being taken away from me, and I'm simply not interested in that even if the developers would prefer to hide the game from me. All the upscaling DLSS crap now in vogue has the same effect.
