There's only three prime evils. There's five lesser evils, IIRC.
There were 3 Prime Evils, all of them killed by now - Diablo, Mephisto and Bhaal. They were rulers of Hells, untill banished by the 4 lesser evils.
However there are 4 Lesser Evils, who in ages past had overthrown the Prime evils, and banished them to the world of humans. those were Duriel, Andariel, and 2 more, whose names I happen to have forgotten right now, the last two being the remaining rulers of Hell, since the times of the banishing of the 3 (they were Generals in the Army of Hell before that), but after the banishing of the 3 these 2 turned on one another.
As evident, at some later point Andariel and Duriel have joined Diablo.
So there are still premises for a new Diablo, though I suspect that the lack of the title character would lessen the appeal (imagine Kill Bill where there is no Bill and further more noone is killed). OF course, at any given point BN can do a prequel game, but I doubt that, or a console spin off - remake of the original Diablo and/or Diablo 2. with the ongoing online/multiplayer of both PS2/X Box, and all the rumours that the next gen consoles would all have Internet connection, it would be small wonder that Blizzard, who are nothing more than a new company that would milk their popular WarCraft, StarCraft and Diablo franchises, since hardly anyone from the original teams that has worked on these games remains, would switch sides and jump on the console bandwagon.
Face it, they have already did that 2, with the best examples in World of Warcraft, A MMORPG sequel to an RTS game, and SC:Ghost, action title aimed solely for consoles (the original developers Nihilistic were obviolsly planning a PC version as well, but I doubt that this is still coming, since it changed dev once and the next gen versions are probably being developed as well, hence the long delay). A console Diablo spin off would be a fitting addition to their portfolio, if you ask me.
