Did Underail prove Iron Tower Studio wrong?

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Underrail world > AoD world imo. I am a sucker for mysteries though AoD has quite a fair share of it, but i like underrail's more.

For actual writing and dialouge, AoD trumps.

What is "C&C", daddy?
It stands for "Command and Conquer" or as it was more commonly labeled "Sid Meier's Command and Conquer".

It was an RPG about Tibetan monks, which is why the 3rd was was called "Command and conquer: Tibetan Sun"

But the most beloved was the second, "Sid Meier's Command and Conquer 2: Legacy of Kain"
You controlled a vampire who worked for the Russian's secret parapsychology divison. Your mission was to time travel back to the cold war and defeat nato. Are you a Bad Enough Dude to defeat the American Capitalist Pigdogs?

AoD writing is good until it becomes apparent that all characters talk in the same way. Every character's dialogue reads like a film noir monologue.

The combat isn't great either.

It's a good game, but not amazing, imo. I didn't finish it but plan to one day. I was put off by the feeling of being railroaded that many people have mentioned before.

I appreciate ITS design philosophy and I get what they were going for, but it's not for me.

Underrail I haven't played yet, but I imagine I will like it more than aod, since watching the numbers go up and toying with builds appeals to me more than C&C.
