I couldn't be less interested in this game. Also, I'm currently being drowned by the sounds of my roommate hacking and slashing in Torchlight 2.

I bought it. Got a negro witch doctor to max level, got bored and then got a refund during that whole South Korean refund policy debacle

I don't care for any of the Diable games, so the thought didn't even cross my mind.

I bought it and don't regret doing so.

It certainly was an awful game overall, but it's tolerable for the first couple runs. It's hard to be disappointed when between myself and my roommate we made close to $800 profit in the first week of the AH.

During the opening of the of the AH we would just run Act 3 Inferno with the monk exploding palm bug (lol 2 full stashes of rares in under an hour) then toss the loot on the AH for stupid prices and log off. The only thing that held it back was the limit to the amount of auctions you could have up. Could've multiplied the profits by buying additional copies of the game just for more AH slots, but we all knew it wouldn't be long before the AH was flooded due to all the stupid exploits that Blizzard had been ignoring for months.

I tried installing this game again. I played for 15 minutes, bitched on the general chat about a lack of character customization, then promptly uninstalled.

Interestingly, the game seems to have begun crawling at a snail's pace in terms of users, AH, and patches. Is this the end? I think so.

It's the end for TL2, and will be soon for PoE, which was quite predictable, but D3 is most likely going to live for 10 years more, just like its predecessor. Especially since the game is constantly inclining, its player base is also remarkably stable.

What a blatant lie by a Blizzard's bought lapdog. If anything, TL2, PoE and D3 will all have a pretty same (short) lifespan, because most of the people playing these games are D2 addicts looking for a new fix, and the fact that they could play D2 for 10 years doesn't mean they will play the new clones for that long because they lack the novelty value of D2.

How can TL2 have same lifespan with PoE or D3 when the devs don't give a shit about the game?

community mods

I doubt that flies anymore, you have to at least try to get your game going before letting the modders do your job.
Did a test just out of curiosity, new char trying to play in group. PoE like 10 games in whatever default league was there (I think anarchy), D3 1600 open games (doubt it's only games at my lvl BUT it got me a game in 2s with players lvl 1-2) and in TL2 I got this: http://i.imgur.com/mtGBB6J.png

Played it for about 3 weeks and haven't touched it since. I don't really regret the purchase because I did play it quite heavily for a while, but it's still nowhere near as good as D2, and I doubt I'll ever play it again unless it's with a friend or something.

My brother bought it, then played it at his friends and gifted me the unopened box with the most serious expression adorning his face I've ever seen

The game was shit.

To my eternal shame, I did both buy and play Diablo 3. I knew in advance that it would be shit, but but after drinking a bunch of Long Islands at a doomed mall bar I let my friends talk me into getting it.

I don't talk to them anymore.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
I'm thinking of buying D3 for the sole purpose of farming and selling shit for real money. Is that still viable?
