They've changed The Outsider's voice actor. That's good I guess because he needs improving.

Some good quotes worthy to be posted:

"If you make your decisions based on what you think is selling well, you end up with this kind of indistinct mess", Smith says. "Whereas if you go with what is in your heart as a gamer... that's kind of how we think. It doesn't make financial sense, but counterintuetively that's how you get rewarded financially."

"For us, art is not graphics," Mitton says. "Too many people judge the visuals of a game focusing only on polygon count, shaders, and technology.... If your design is weak, you will fail, and your graphics won't save anything."

:bro:

I love these Arkane folks. They really got their shit together.

I think Dishonored was very well-designed but it had an overarching problem in that the diversity of things that you did throughout the game was not so high. When it comes down to it, it was just blink choke blink choke blink choke all the way through the game.

In comparison, DX:HR was an amateurish effort in many ways, with so many low-level shortcomings, but in a high-level perspective, as a Deux Ex game it did give you lots of stuff to do. Talk to people, hack computers, take out robots. Or scripted scenarios where you were ambushed and encouraged to pull out your weapons.

I'd like a game with the low-level tightness of Dishonored and the broader scope of a Deus Ex.

Worst part of course being that all the fun ways to do your work caused high chaos.

My team has the sexiest and deadliest waifus you can recruit.
Might not necessarily be GOTY material, but the potential is here for D2 to be better than the first game
As long as Emily isn't another of many in the line of smart-ass sarcastic quipping action women with a vengeance

Trained for 15 years by her father the Lord Protector, one can safely assume that Emily didn't turn into a Safe Space bitch.

I hope she isn't constantly bickering with Corvo, and calling him old and slow geezer etc. over and over again.

Anything like the relationship between nuGarret & and that emo chick :0-13:

Can id6 deal with open and large levels as UE4?

EDIT: It seams this Void engine will power next Elder scrolls game.
