As time consuming as it might prove to be... if there's a mod which absolutely needs to be made, it's the one implementing the once-promised NPC schedules and the day/night cycle.

Strap Yourselves In Serpent in the Staglands Shadorwun: Hong Kong Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
Now to find cheap ways to reskin the clothes so I can make a noir-cold war abomination.

Of course, I need to get better internetz first. :negative:

I am very happy to hear this. The lazy and unskilled me is ashamed to say that I hope the nice people will bring to life old games I never got to play. The games that came before '95, when I finally got a computer, that I cannot bring myself into playing nowadays. I am not a graphic whore but I must say I can not get into games where I can count the pixels on the screen. At that level, only for the story, I would rather read a book. Yes I may miss on decent mechanics but maybe I will finally get lucky. Still, I have the strong feeling I am missing on something important. I would gladly pay for ports into a decent engine.

Someone please remake old D&D modules with this :bounce:

I am pretty sure that this will be tried in the Future...

The question is : Do we realy need an Planescape Torment or BG2 that looks like TL2/Diablo3/DOTA?

Dont get me wrong, i like the GFX of DoS, but i dont think that the Infinity Games realy getting better if they are remaked in this Engine. BG Reloaded (NWN2 Engine) is a good Example for an technical newer, but EXTREMLY ugly Remake that did NOTHING better then the Original BG. 3D is overrated.

Oh boy, imagine Deionarra making these goofy dialoge annimations while talking to her in the mortuary, this song in the background :

That's not what she meant by old D&D modules

Why on earth would you remake a game that already exists except for an open source engine port?

For my part, I would much rather see creative offshoots from the older games rather than outright remakes. For instance, an idea that I have had in my pocket for some time is to make an Ultima based adventure that takes place just prior to the start of Ultima 5, where you play the critical role in forming the Resistance and helping to summon the avatar to Britannia. It lets players return to the setting, yet with a brand new adventure that has some fun with pondering how things came to be and coloring in between the lines that were otherwise left unspecified.

I too would like to see an Ultima, done with this engine. Perhaps even IV, V or VI. Obviously VII was the inspiration for this engine, and that should fit very well.

I'm going to try and do Ultima VII: Part Two - The Serpent Isle in this, since I have almost all of the work done for me from my previous work trying to do it in NWN2. I just have to now learn a new editor. ugh. :/

Yup, I remember it. :) Might be good to stay in touch and share any ideas or resources that make sense, although given the different settings it may be limited. I'm planning on starting on a much smaller scale than I did with NWN2, taking one of the side quest ideas for Moonglow from my larger campaign and creating a standalone proof of concept module from it that can take place entirely on Verity Isle.

That sounds good. When the editor is finally out, I'm sure in the Workshop Forums, we'll have a thread there where we can discuss/share tips about the editor. Since we seem to have a lot of interest from many people here in working with this editor.
