i wouldn't get my hopes too high on dialog and story. it appears to be a combat heavy TBS game. none of the features mentioned anything about multiple approach to problem solving and role-playing.

No, but supposedly one will be able to pick up group members of various factions and have that change one's standing with certain factions, and I've gotten the impression that there are alternative routes to the end. So it might be like a turnbased dungeoncrawl, except on a planet surface and with a sci-fi theme instead of fantasy. Kind of like Wasteland perhaps, and that was good enough for me.

Funny that the 5/14 new item on the metalheart website says release date will be anounced "next week" and here it is two montsh later when they actually do...
