Depending on browser settings certain embeds like reddit, tiktok, vk, et cetera don't display, would it be possible to have the media embedding also just post the url under them? The reason I ask because while I can quote and turn off bb code to get a full enough link to paste after reddit.com/r/ to load reddit embeds this is not the case with a few other types of embedding. I know it might be redundant for those that can load the media fine but it's kind of a pain for embeds that don't provide a link like twitter does even when embedded tweets don't load.

There's a post on how to workaround Twitter embeds with tracking protection enabled on Firefox. Everyone shouldn't have clutter in their posts because of somebody's misconfigured browser.

If there are specific embed sites with problems, specify them and I'll see what can be done. If they fail to embed for a significant portion of the userbase, it might indeed be best to edit the embed templates.

This needs work to be done on every distinct embed template, so I'm not going to enable it indiscriminately.

Is the content hidden behind a spoiler tag loaded with the page or only loaded after the user clicks to reveal spoiler?

I've been frustrated by EMBED only posts and try to include a link directly to the media outside of a spoiler tag with EMBED hidden behind spoiler.
