Listen guys: I just fucked up on another level. I'm not a native speaker, and I interpreted "off the record" as in: "I don't officially work for them, so I don't know anything for sure"...

I never meant to violate the guy's thrust. I just suck at English. He's indeed a nice guy, and, if it makes you guys feel better: he already knows about this, since I mailed him. So this would not be covering up something so I don't get into trouble, but so HE doesn't get into trouble.

I fucked up. What can I say? I'm sorry. I'll learn my English sayings better.

As long as it wasn't intentional and all, as seems wasn't the case, there shouldn't be any problem. Although I guess you won't hear as much stuff "off the record" in the future Jebus.

It's a misstake many people could do.
