I really liked Morrowind's concept art. So alien.

Too bad the game came out looking incredibly bland.

Morrowind's art and early shots were so promising, then later it came out foggy, cramped, and brown. Blech.

I have several favorite game artists, here are a few.

Haradaya: He is the character designer for almost all of NIS games. If you've heard of Disgaea: Hour of darkness, Makai kingdom, or Phantom brave, then he designed the characters for them.

Sam Wise: I just recently came across his website...actually the shared website, for all of Blizzards hot artists. He's one of the guys who brought us characters for Diablo 2, Warcraft 3, and the upcoming Starcraft 2.

Tatsuya Yoshikawa: I forget his name most of the time, but he made characters for all of the Breath of fire games, and he's working on Devil may cry 4.
