It's been confirmed all of that Information and that picture is fake. There is no Fable 2. They are thinking about bringing out Fable 360 which is only a port of Fable: The Lost Chapters. Fable 360 will be a disaster because all it is at its core is a polished version of the Original Fable. When Microsoft confirmed a sequel to Fable on the xbox 360 that included a possible port of the PC version to the xbox360 and not just a full sequel. I wouldn't be suprised to see Fable 2 on the PS3 along with Ninja Gaiden. These guys are graphics hores so they will go with who has the more powerful system and it looks like it won't be Microsoft this time.

With all the hype Microsoft is making for their new system I would think that they would have better developement kits ready for their systems. The fact that they haven't updated their developement kits made the PS3 games look that much better than the xbox360 games and that is going to cost them If they continue on like this. PS3 is taking some steam out of the xbox360 launch. However, I haven't read a single report about a playable ps3 game so for all we know those graphics could just be renders.

From the Lionhead Boards

http://boards.lionhead.com/showthread.php?p=1016428#post1016428

Boards - Fable 2 Info on Today! Tuesday.
First about the image, it is clearly not a hardware based render(realtime/gaming), it is software based(film/post effects), it was also done by an artist that posted his work on deviant art or some website like that.

about the post:

I like many others that got wind of this post that was also listed on www.planetlionhead.com about Fable360 info and screenshots ect. went into a frenzy and got all excited about the possibility of so soon being given the opportunity to see this hope become reality, I looked into as many forums/boards as possible.

I found myself at IGN.com and behold the so called p
erson in charge of the story/article and exclusive info on Fable360 posting all this info saying you'll get a horse to ride in Fable360 and the world is so massive that you could quite possibly get lost blah blah blah, basically repeating all of not only things that were originally intended for Project Ego/Fable but things everyone with interest in Project Ego/Fable/Fable2/Fable360 have been hoping for in a next-gen sequel.

So you can imagine how pumped I am about all this info and I was even getting that same feeling I got when I first read about Project Ego which seems now like ages ago, well not only was this blessed info not anywhere to be found when or where it was said to be seen but the dumb little ***hole that posted all of this info blamed the misunderstanding and false posts with:

"my little brother got onto my account on 3 different websites and posted all of these lies", which come to find was also his excuse for his "Halo 3 Tech Demo Revealed" post as well.

However not that this is anything close to what we are hoping for in a sequel nor does it sound here is something that may cheer some of us up or may indeed anger as well.

Here is a link but also note this is ign.com and it is still kind of a rumor:
http://xbox.ign.com/articles/613/613720p1.html

All I can say is keep your heads up for any info, but dont allow your hopes to get up, we all know what happens when you do that. Even in saying that I will get my hopes up and dream about Fable 2/Fable360

Sincerely,

Irylok

None of the lionhead people would confirm or deny the rumor. They like this type of stuff. They want to keep people talking about Fable so that means I am done talking about Fable this is my last Fable related post until some Real Fable Info comes out.
