Then why making a continuous gameworld if you know it will be incredibly fucked up with everything awfully way to close to each other ? Remove the continuous gameworld and many problems are solved at once.
Because very few people actually care about places being close together in games.

And because that's how Bethesada rolls. We aren't talking about hypothetical Fallout game made by reincarnated Black Isle. We have to deal with reality here.

Beth can't make engines which support more than 3 characters on screen and fuckers are seriously asking for a car. SMH.

People have made driveable vehicle mods for New Vegas, check it out:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7t48Hrq5Sfc#t=215

Should be timestamped, if timestamp doesn't work skip to about 3:30.

It's a total laugh-out-loud disaster as the bike smashes into things that don't exist, disappears at random, twists around at impossible angles, inexplicably glides through signposts and presumably eventually crashes the game. There was an airship mod for Skyrim with similarly bizarre psychedelic results.

If modders can't work a driveable vehicle into Gamebryo/Creation, then I doubt Bethesda's own developers can.

Hopefully they won't, because it's shitty idea. This game is going to be popamole mess already, no reason to ruin it even more.

You don't have to actually drive it. Just give it limited fuel and and activate fast travel by clicking on it. The car might break half way or run out of fuel, or other events can occur. The FWE mod for FO3 did it. It's the same mechanic as the Silt Strider in Morrowind and such. Best marriage of both immersion and comfort.

The original Highwayman in FO2 worked like that as well. However I'm not a big fan of that. I know it's cliche to say this, but it kinda breaks the immersion for me. Especially when you know you'd be a really vulnerable target, since cars in FO3 and New Vegas explode after being shot 2 or 3 times.

Don't they explode because they're atomic-powered? It's part of the satire. An armored diesel car would even add a touch of class. It being damaged during travel could, as i said, be an event on its own. But hey, tastes...

Bullshit.
XRE cars is fucking awesome:

It's recommended to install one other mod (forgot the name) that makes the main road a little smoother so you don't fuck your car up every 10 mts...

Fallout 4 will be announced at e3 2015, will be CURRENT GEN AND PC ONLY
What ? Bethesda gone full mad ? Can incline from them really happen? :bounce:

However, they did reveal that it’s not going to be a crossgen title. “Bethesda is aiming for an impressive scale and atmosphere with Fallout 4,” they said. “They’re only developing it on current gen and PC.”

Then, we asked why reveal this news to us, they replied “someone has too.”

Fallout will make an appearance at E3 this year in some capacity. When asked on a scale of one to ten how likely it is that the Fallout 4 would appear at the show, he answered “11”.

Current Gen means Current Gen CONSOLES

So, no XBOX360 or PS3 versions, but PS4 and XBOXONE.

I'm not particularly excited about another Beth failout, but on the off chance they take some cues from new Vegas and come up a setting and story that isn't completely nonsensical, it could be worth playing. Once mods fix it of course.

An in any case it will be interesting to see what gamebryo can do on current generation consoles.
