It was a proper ball ache. Daily level restrictions meant you had something like eight hours of gameplay a week where you actually got xp for quests, then after ten levels of punching walking mushrooms the storyline took a nose dive and you were meant to dick about aimlessly for another ten - the next week's worth of play.

I wonder if they ever fixed the UI and got rid of that XP shit. It actually sounded like decent - entirely skill-based like UO.
