Good question, first boss is a city guard named Olo and there are eight levels and they seem rather long - I clocked almost 90 denats only in the first one.

Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Codex Year of the Donut Pathfinder: Wrath
I almost 100% steam achievements for this game. Some thoughts and tips:
- I honestly think it's a great game. Worth a buy, if you don't mind indie jank.

- And this point it's pretty much bug free. Dev still releases minor balancing patches etc.
- The only bad thing about it is boss and (especially) sub-boss design. It's sucks. Frustrating as fuck. Tips: USE COUNTER for bosses. Get them on the ground, grab them, do 5 grab attacks, try counter when they are breaking free, repeat. With sub-bosses look for opening. Save weapons for the fat guy on the train. If you run out of them, just kick ON MAXIMUM DISTANCE.
- Use environment interactions. It's the most fun part of the game. Be a street violance artist.
- And FFS, use grab attacks. Pick up enemies from ground.
- Standing grab and hold "up" near a wall or a tall object to do a head smash.
- If you press the kick at medium pace as Franko, you can make an infinite combo on regular enemies. Press too fast and he will do a regular triple kick combo. Press too slow, enemy will become stunned and get powerkicked. Much more tricky with Skinny (if it can be done, I think he causes less stunlock), he kind of sucks in general, except for some niche areas.
- 200 combo gets you an extra life. Pretty easy in level 1.
- Fists can be blocked, kicks are usually better. Use punches as combo opener on enemies who can counter kicks (tall guys, cops and cop-shaped enemies), as combo middle on rare enemies who can block kicks (anarchist junkies). Or to make shorter mixed combo when needed.
- Press kick to feed your boot to the enemy when he's talking shit on the ground.
- You can counter the counters.
