And after that it's only a few months to their planned release date or an announcement that Fallout 3 will be delayed. Bethesda is doing a great job in keeping everyone in the dark.

I still don't understand why people who write previews, feel the need to unashamedly suck up to people who make video games.

Makes no sense.

They even go so far as to trash us (Fallout fans) because we can't see the GENIUS of bethesda.

I also loved the "change is inevitable" stuff in the beginning. I'm fine with change. But this change sucks. They changed Fallout from a cool RPG, to a crappy shooter.

This, of course, presents the challenge of containing its own ambition, something that Howard admitted Bethesda is always struggling to do: “We always go too far. Always. So it’s like a blessing and a curse. I think people look for us to do that, but at times we certainly bite off more then we can chew, so we worry about being able to create a game that competes with the smaller, more focused titles out there, in terms of polish.”

Both of these men should be killed for the benefit of the human species. Now I think I understand what real blasphemy is. Maybe the solution to this problem is Immediate Global Thermonuclear War. As in right now, preferably before I can even finish this sentence. If these men are typical of our species we don't deserve to survive.

Have any of you read The Forge of God? If only I could get access to some neutron star material or a black hole to make The Bomb. The result: a group of small asteroids orbiting the sun betwen Venus and Mars and a much better world for everyone.

You're trying too hard.

Makes no sense.

There is no such thing as an unbiased review source that relies on the subject of its reviews for income (via ad revenue) and/or access to early review material.

No more sucking up = no more gravy train.

This goes for any industry, not just video games. Car mags, firearm mags, whatever. All worthless.

You only get reviewers that do not suck up as official policy if they're funded by a non-industry source and don't care about "scoops".

Of course, there's no escaping from an individual reviewer's personal bias and intelligence (or lack thereof) no matter what.

It could be mediocre?
Mainstream-Medicore = Shit (not to mention that it isn't worth as much as they want for it).

what was so good about that dark brotherhood storyline anyway? it sucked beyond belief.

To be fair, the Dark Brotherhood party quest was actually pretty fun.

Because video game journalists are just groupies without the class.
