Games similar to Might and Magic 6-8

Only one character and very lite mechanics wise but dungeons and exploration definitely reminds of M&M6-8.
There is a party-based sequel in the works but i wouldn't expect it anytime soon.

If the elderscrolls had party mechanics, I'd suggest it but alas it fails. This isn't so easy as there are a lot of games I've just never played.

So reqs are:
Party 4+ (6 is sweet but 8 is great)

Free balling no grid attachment

I hate to saw it but real time / tb switch on the fly (where machine gunning with ranged and spells can be devastating)

Not just breadth and width but depth and height for a full 3D environment

I'm probably forgetting a lot but those seem to be the basics of 6-9.

Maybe can be good, neutral, or evil that affects the game story and multiple endings.

Some world base building (like a castle to make your own or town -- getting a little HOMM here).

Crafting? Maybe.

I should add might boot of kicking but that is a different genre.

There are stupid mobile gachas that'll do that. In fact, there are afk ones that do this. I just saw an add called AFK RPG. Bleh!

I don't like the 'new and awesome or whatever' 3D visuals much, to be honest :/ Or maybe they are mere alpha screenshots?

I mean, they’re not bad, but in my book, thoughtful, hand-drawn 2D visuals will always beat anything short of marvelous 3D. That’s something many people just don’t seem to get—anything but awesome 3D visuals and you sabotage the atmosphere every single time. So, if you don’t have what it takes to produce something that ILM would applaud, don’t bother with 3D. Save your resources, go 2D, and pour your heart into it. The results will be tenfold better.
It's even more striking with studious that already did cool 2D games, such as Redshift.

The Magic World 2 has free balling, seems
