FYI. Nothing new. Yawn. What impressed the previewer was combat, physics, visuals. Of course, can't expect much from playing the game for mere minutes. So why did I post this? Because you all are secret Oblivion junkies and you know it.

You can find it here: http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/rpg/the ... id=6141972

At the very end of the piece:

The frame rate was consistent if a little choppy in the build we played, though Bethesda has plenty of time to continue optimizing in advance of the game's release in late March.
Sounds like they've made little to no progress on the optimization front since X05.

But enough about raw numbers. How does it play? A lot like Morrowind, in that you'll run around in first-person perspective, actively hacking at enemies while the RPG stat-crunching happens transparently.

Kinetic!

At CES, we got to jump to a point much further in the game, set amid those lovely forests Bethesda has been so fond of showing off since the game's release.

Release?

Naturally, the frost sword we were wielding was largely ineffectual against the undead

Naturally.

Combat, Physics and Visuals, yup that's a sure fire revolutionary game they've got right there. I mean what else could you ask for in an "RPG"?

Patrick Steward would probably have worked cheaper than Patrick Stewart.

Bethesda just wanted to compete with Civ4's Leonard Nimoy.
Next up, NWN2 will feature William Shatner as the ultimate geek attracting voice . . . . :P
