Darling Violetta is dark ambient music, though - so don't worry about it. They typicall use a violin, e.g. the Angel theme song.

I wonder if the track "Die My Darling" is a cover of the old Misfits song...
Presumably, it's the name of the band, making them Misfits fans.

i like the fact that Troika went for the real deal on the soundtrack tho... those bands are all respectibly non-mainstream
I'm pretty sure the Activision picked the soundtrack.

That is the worst Vampire trailer/video to date. The other ones were good; but this one *is* horrible.

That trailer is terrible. If the game is like that, I can't say I'm interested anymore.

Haha, if the game is like what, a montage of NPCs speaking?

I'll agree, it was the worst trailer so far. Mainly because of Fat Larry.

I think it would be an over obsession if it showed players sniffing and eating thongs, mini-skirts, and tops. But having some T&A in a trailer? Oh noes!

I thought a big part of WOD vamps was about seduction and sexuality? I have no idea about the setting so I'm probably wrong.

It was sexy and seductive... in the first trailer. But every damn thing released about the game has been filled with crap like this.

P.S. Jeanette's new voice sucks.

Ok, having just seen it I have to agree that some of the remodelings are strange. It seems less interesting now than what it did before.

It came off as a GTA wannabe to me with all of that 'hipness' and complete lack of gothic atmosphere. I am slowly losing interest. I'm really keen on dark, gothic atmospheres, Bloodlines' original premise... so this trailer was definitely a sucker punch to the throat for me.

Do you know what this little trailer reminded me of? It reminded me of the worst possible thing: FOBOS. That's what it reminded me of. The trailer reminded me of FOBOS. Zero fucking atmosphere. Zero sophistication. Zero class. It's all presented in an 'edgy', yet 'light hearted' fashion. Oh look, tits and boobs... and a black man who talks tough. We are trying really hard to be hardcore and taken seriously. Now that's what I call bullshit.

Considering it was a one minute flick showing basically no gameplay, I find it interesting how some people react to it. I found it interesting to hear some of the voice acting and see some new characters mainly - I enjoyed the facial animations of the Nosferatu to the most.

Well, that might be it. There's no new gameplay there, I already know facial animations are nice, but otherwise I've already seen it all before in the past videos. Jeanette's model also seems to have changed for the worse. Is it me or is voice acting slightly worse?

After seeing those gameplay (the long ones with the walkthrough for character creation and such) movies I'm not worried much. I'll just wait till it comes out before I pass judgement or lose faith in it because of a short peice of crap.

Anyways, I looked at the old model of the chick, then I watched the trailer a couple times again, I believe the change is for the better. As for her voice, I don't remember what it used to be.

here's the old chick: CLICK ME

I don't have a pic of the new one.

The first version of Jeanette seems to be worse when it comes to the polish of the model, but I don't think the second version is better aesthetically.

eh, why the "click me"? Not allowed to have pics? or just taking too much room?

The trailer's lack of gameplay visuals may in fact serve as evidence of Vampire's lacklustre gameplay, poor animation or what ever. As previously mentioned I also don't like how the trailer has absolutely no gothic ambience or atmosphere. Reminds me of FOBOS's trailers. Not a good sign, no.

I think they've shown in video the gameplay factor more than most games get. How long altogether were those gameplay walkthrough videos? 30-40 minutes?

I don't know when trailers of games ever really indicate the quality of something other than their pretty graphics. But oh well. Maybe it's crap, maybe a Godsend. We'll see.
