I honestly don't know....and you're right, though really, thats fine by me for now. Like I said, it was too early back when, but either way I'll have something to talk about soon.

Yeah. DAC is more or less dead (unless you count the forum goons, who should probably move here.) so if you need anything, just ask.

Cool. I could hassle EvoG over here as well. That'd be neat.

The reasons for replaying Fallout just keep piling up!

If you haven't already, you must talk to Tor, the 'slow' guy in Klamath in FO2 with a stupid character. Their conversation was a real knee slapper.

Just reloaded Arcanum as a magic character, every other time I played a technologist of some kind. The magic path is fudged, after a couple of hours I can summon a hellgate demon, sit back and harm untli everything is dead. Its also much duller than the technologists path, I enjoyed learning how to make weird and crappy devices and then searching bins for charcoal to make bullets. They should have put in some way to manufacture magic items.

The over powerful magic was a common complaint with Arcanum and one which the handful of mod makers for it have tried to rebalance from time to time.

As for the crafting, I think if you allowed magic item crafting it would have removed the only tech advantage there was. Though it would have been great if they could have had some sort of magic/neutral crafting and balanced it all. Maybe if hell freezes over and Arcanum 2 is released we shall have that.

There are only a few flaws with arcanum that make such a huge difference. If they had slowed movement in combat , toned down melee damage and magic or upped the firearms damage and added crafting for magic characters it would have been the shiz..... not that it wasn't it would have been more so the shiz...

I could see having some skills which allow you to enchant items and give them a magical quality, or some such. Hey, Chris, have you thought of something like that for your mod?
