I will say this for Vogel, he is the embodiment of someone whose creative interests are heavily outweighed by his skill and business acumen. This does sound like a criticism, it is, but most people like him would have bankrupted themselves decades ago so his cockroach like persistence is something else!

Exile series and the Nethergate game, Vogel's best releases by a long mile. He should stay the fuck away from remastering his old stuff, as it's quite embarrassing to live off rehashed releases, and concentrate on creating something completely new instead.

His recent games have been bad, and the Geneforge remake was his first remake that was an actual improvement over the original. It's probably for the best if he just finishes remaking the rest of the Geneforge series and doesn't try to make something new.

Everyone seemed to hate geneforge 1 green but I really liked the game. I was only playing the demo though back then. These you play side by side imho and make notes.
