Another tight game... another dead Chaos Warrior. Should have bought an Apothecary after my second game, but was greedy and am now paying the price.
Still, if nobody important dies after my next game, I'll buy one then!

I should rename my team the "Fluffy Pacifist Hippy Bunnies of Chaos". I've only injured about half a dozen players in all 4 games I've played and my team seem happier scoring TDs and gently pushing people about than knocking them down and cracking their heads open, not Chaos like behaviour at all... I'm most disappointed in them.

I am not at home so I can't post the replay, having said that it was a bit of a dull game with only a journeyman skink getting killed. Although I did roll pretty shit with a nice 4 skull reroll burning combo. I shouldn't have to worry about that happening now for another 1296 rolls. Yay.

Team America emulates the current state of America at the moment and falls into a socialist bowl of fail. They go down 2-0 to the might of the facist Sithak's Maulers.

I FUCKING HATE BLOOD BOWL!
I was all excited to try out my lineman with kick. He get's knocked down and gets -1 strength right on the first turn.
I was all excited to try out my brand new ogre. I only get to stand him up once before he gets a niggling injury and is out for the next match.
I lose half of my team in the first drive. They aren't KOs. They are ALL casualties.
Severely outnumbered, I try a desperate attempt at tossing the ball over his front line to outrun him to the ball and score. My thrower gets two critical fails and fumbles the ball. Next turn I pick it up and try again, only to have the ball fucking intercepted by a fucking dwarf!
My last turn of the match, I have only one fucking player on the pitch. My blitzer is completely surrounded by dwarves and is going to get fucking gang-raped next turn. I decide to foul a prone dwarf, and the fucking ref calls off my last player on the pitch.
And the worst thing, I only got fucking 10k for the match. That's what I fucking got last time. Dammit.
This game hates me.

OH MY GOD POST IT
I beat Sovard with about 4 players on the field and killed his runner on the first turn. Damn that was satisfying. I think I play him next actually. FUCK.

Practically a repeat of the last match...
Again I lost my entire front line to casualties within the first two turns and lost more than half of my team within the first drive. And this was against humans, not dwarves.
To add insult to injury, my MVP went to one of my fucking journeyman.
Ugh. I can't do anything when I'm outnumbered 2 to 1 on the pitch. The dice hate me.

As already said, OSK kept his "lucky" streak regarding injuries. The first turns are worth seeing just for the lineman mercenaries dropping like flies.

I'm just being a sore loser. Let me wallow in my self-pity. I'm sure the skaven player is getting thinks I'm being a whiny bitch. :D
The end result was actually much better than my last match. I got 50k in winnings, didn't get any permanent injuries and even got enough SPP to level up two players.
Some fun facts.

7 - 41.7%
8 - 27.7%
9 - 16.7%
10 - 8.3%
The injury result (no modifiers):
Stunned - 58.3%
KO'd - 25%
Casualty - 16.7%

Thanks, I especially appreciate the injury chances, I don't think I'd seen that broken down yet.
I think we can whine, it's almost part of the game. Personally, I want to direct it mostly at myself, because I've played enough and I feel like I keep inflating the risks, playing impatiently. Very bad with Skaven. I did a lot better in an earlier league. I'm going to play my matches, don't worry, but I didn't focus this league and now have a kind of fucked-up team and little hope. The psychology of this game is brutal and I'm in a downward spiral now, just wanting to get it over with. Especially easy to fall into in BB since you know even if you play correctly you can get screwed. So I can be a sore loser too, but maybe venting here will clear my head a bit.
And since I am: I am still kind of fed up with Cyanide's interface too-- the opacity of the dice-roll risk for dodges and skills, and the ease with which you can make a bad click. Adds to the frustration of a game where there's already plenty built-in. You've probably heard that before, but it's true. Credit for some frustration is due to some solid play on my opponents' parts, though. Wouldn't want to imply anything else. I think it is better than in my other league.
BTW, sorry when I'm the bottleneck. I have turned on all the right switches in steam so that so that I should notice everything there (name: Benjamin Barker).

Had a really good game against headache just now. He played really well and the game turned on an event early in the second half. If it had gone the other way, the result would have been completely different.

BUT the only reason that I managed to win it was a lucky blitz on his Gutter Runner at the start of the second half when he was clean through. If I hadn't knoced him over (an 11 in 36 chance, I think) he would have run on and been leading 2-1 and would have gone on to at least draw, if not win. As it was, I stole the ball, ran it in for a TD, then stole another TD on the very last turn
