The difficulty for each single player mission, assuming that's what you are talking about here, scales with the force you end the previous one. So if you finish with a full force expect an enemy force that is that much bigger. For some missions you are almost better off scuttling your fleet at the very end.I know a couple of my friends who are hardcore RTSers that got frustrated with the level of difficulty in HW2.

Trash said:the last mission in HW was just plain impossible, everytime i started it my mothership was wiped out by a massive fleet that came from both above and below the mothership, in the end i just gave up and watched the final cutscene using WMP.
