Been a while since I played JA2 but you should be able to assemble trainers with the strategy map. Click on the Occupation slot of the team member that you want to train your militia with (usually, this slot is for team assignment, like Team 1, Team 2, etc.). There should be a box appearing now where you can choose 'train' or something like that and you're good to go.

Yea. In the strategic map you choose a character or group of them and click on their ''status''. You should get a context menu where it says ''train''. Then you choose ''train militia''. Boy, maybe jou shouldn't play JA2 after all?

Be sure to double train them so you get veterans. It pays of later in the game.

2.Any Idea when I am soposed to be able to find weapons with a good range?
3.what town should I attack next (after the first one you are explicty told to attack)? Or should I do something else first?

When you quite using the Codex as your own personal GameFAQS.

Ok, let's be fair here...Jagged Alliance 2 is not a simple game. Asking for help in it is completely justified. And this is in a forum called "General Game Help"....

Anyway, as far as guns go, it depends on where you are, and where you assault. If you hit Cambria, you should have a good deal of Mini-14's, which can do some decent damage and have some decent range. If you want bigger guns, hit the SAM site south of the Cambria Mine, or the SAM site a few clicks south of Chitzena. Both have a cache of gear as well as nicely equipped enemies who will likely surrender some guns. Plus, Deidranna will send elites to reclaim the sites, which means you can acquire even more high quality equipment.

If all else fails, you could hire Gus for a day and take his gun. The G41 isn't a P90, but it's still damn good. I think Bobby Ray's only gets new guns when you've already found one, or faced enemies who have one. Or it may be tied to game progress. I'm not sure.

It's tied to game progress but his inventory may fluxuate and some items may disappear for a bit, as they aren't in stock. Wait a day or two and you might see what you're looking for.

You should really just look around the game more then ask us for help. Right now you look pretty stupid, some more important questions would be how to take on the Alma base without fucking shit up, and how to get your ass out of prison.

Ok I am stuck right now

I have attacked the sam site south of the town with the hospital (I have said town, drassen and the north west most town freed and control the SAM site east of drassen) and while I have every foe outside killed, the remaining 3 or so are holding up in a building, includeing Mike, one of the soliders (not mike) is aimed at the door, shooting my mercs when the open the door (one of my mercs manages to move first consisantly though), any advice on how to finish this?

Also, if I flee the sector to heal, will enemys comeback?

Also, I can't beleive I JUST noticed that right clicking makes your shots more accurete at the cost of extra AP...

Have an explosives specialist with some TNT? You can blow up the cracked wall on the southern side if your explosives guy can flag the mines in that area. That, or you could try throwing a bunch of grenades/tear gas. Or just send in someone like Hamous or Ira in as a meatshield.

Little late for that now

I took some explosive crystals I found earlyer from cambria then deadnated them with a grenade, then used the shape charge on one of the inner doors (coould not figure out how to set it so it didn't blow up in my face though).

I have claimed the SAM site, now should I take Grumm Alma, Ballime or Tixa?

You will enjoy the game more if you try for yourself. Why there's an optimal answer, you will really have more fun if you try to do whatever seems like a good idea. Don't let others play JA 2 for you - play it yourself and do what seems like a good idea. And if it doesn't work... you just reload.
