How great is this game!!!!

Well I installed it and really liked what I saw for about 15 minutes and then it crashed, or it froze up my PC and I had to do a hard reboot.

Oh well, it had promise for the short time I played it.

That sucks. I never had to reboot my machine. The ctrl + alt + delete combo takes me back to windows where I can start the game quickly again (sounds pathetic, I know, but I really like game!). Sometimes when the game freezes you just have to wait some time and then goes back to normal again.

I tried it out again and it happened again after about a half hour, and I tried cntl alt del again and waited a long time and it never came back. Oh well, I just have the time to mess with a game that keeps doing that.

Too bad because it did looks quite interesting. I liked background music and the first few moments in the world seemed pretty interesting.

One thing that did annoy me was the mouse camera control, its reversed where you have to move it left to go right and vice versa to move the camera around. Is there a way to change that back to standard?

Sorry about necroing this thread but I finally tried out this game because of interview with VD about AOD. In it he talked about how POD was one of the influences for his game.

I never tried it before due to almost every thread about this game was about CTDs. Anyways I gotta say it's really good. Yes, there are annoying CTDs but I can deal with that as long as it is worth my time.

I like the complexity of the game. It's a nice change of pace from the usual crap being sold.
