Actually Inon Zur and Jeremy Soule are pretty good composers, you guys just don't have any taste. And you seem to be unable to evaluate game music apart from the games they accompany.

That is all.

Jeremy Soule? I'll give you that. Sometimes. He does "melancholy slow paced" much better than "epic shit" though (see Icewind Dale and Morrowind). Inon Zur? GTFO.

Sin Episode had an awesome soundtrack. I extracted the music files and keep a number of them on my mp3 player. Game itself was shit. Let's face it though, the chances that an otherwise shitty game will have an awesome soundtrack worth listening to outside the game are pretty slim. I'll post again if I can think of one other than Sin Episode.

I loved Oblivion's soundtrack.

Syberia 2 and Dragon Age are examples of good soundtracks by him. If you disagree, you're a moron.

Soule did some nice work for Oblivion, though he botched the main theme, and overall Morrowind's was better.

Don't remember Syberia's or 2's. Dragon Age? I guess me disagreeing means I have good taste. Aside from the main menu theme which was not bad everything else was 100% generic and forgettable.

I remember Syberia 2 having pretty boring music as well. Syberia 1 on the other hand had good music.

I didn't really understand why they went with that main theme. It was completely counter to the rest of the sound track, and was little more than a rip off of the Pirates of the Caribbean main theme. Oddly, when they first demoed the game at E3 the title music was from Morrowind. It seemed as if the Morrowind main theme was going to become the Elder Scrolls' theme. I wonder if they changed this at the last minute, and Soule hastily threw up a replacement theme.

"Generic" and "forgettable" are common critiques from people who don't actually know enough about music to have anything substantial to say about it. I forgive your ignorance.

Well, Oblivion's main theme (the thing with the horns) does use the Morrowind melody, so it did become the TES theme (a good thing), but Soule's decision to go for a faster battle-style rendition of it instead of Morrowind's more sweeping style is strange to say the least. I don't think it worked at all. On the other hand Oblivion's exploration music was quite good and felt less repetitive than Morrowind's, though I don't know if it actually was a longer score in terms of minutes.

Of course. It is utterly inconceivable that music you like may, in fact, be forgettable. What was I thinking! Now please excuse me while I go burn my diplomas and eagerly wait for your next master class.

I forgive your ignorance.
Since we're in a spirit of forgiveness I'll let both your trolling and cretinism slide.
