In their short tenure they managed to produce one of the best storyfag RPGs (Arcanum) and the best combatfag RPG (Temple of Elemental Evil), satisfying both camps of the RPG duality. In Xuthal of the Dusk, Conan is horrified by Thog but, instead of going insane, he attacks. Same thing in God in the Bowl and A Witch Shall be Born. Conan isn't simple in the sense of being dumb. He's simple in the sense of "you can just do things."
