cretin, what exactly are you "seeing?" Unless BG2 classes horrify you, Beamdog added no content to IWD EE.

they added really jarring portraits and yes the BG2 kits do horrify me since the game was not balanced around them.

Hm. That is a pickle. I wonder if it might be possible not to click on the horrific kits and portraits.

Grab the Codex by the pussy Strap Yourselves In Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.

The EE does have other less avoidable issues. Like the use of BG2's proficiency table and the addition of spells that the game wasn't balanced around. The former requires using CDTweaks to revert, the latter requires occasional googling to see if the spells you want to use were in the original.

Nice seeing some discussion on IWD. Was just thinking about playing it.

Can someone knowledgeable answer me a question?
I read that multiclass Cleric/Rangers get access to lvl 7 druid spells in the original game. Does the same apply to dual classed Ranger -> Clerics?
If so, do you need a minimum ranger level for this to happen, or would a lvl 3 ranger dual suffice?

Dual classed ranger 3 should not get any spells above 3, by tabletop rules. You are abusing a bug.

So after all this fucking around

I finally figured out how to get IWD running buttery smooth with no visual glitches, hickups or distortions on windows 10

You know what the trick is?

You fucking delete the piece of shit ddraw shit that gog packed in there.

That's all. That's the only thing you have to do. Jesus. Turns out this thing runs perfectly fine on win 10 and needs no assistance.

The way I got it to run smoothly on Win10 was to enable OpenGL 3D acceleration in config.exe
I also installed IE DDrawfix beforehand, but that alone didn't do anything.
