I wanted some changes to the economy for a new playthrough, but the mods I found had details that I did not want. So I decided to make the changes myself with a new mod.
It makes pretty much everything (except animals and research artifacts) expensive while making your selling prices lower (or about the same as vanilla in some cases). Also nerfed hashish because hash = easy money lol.

Up to 165h and I'm still into this on my first character. Time to train up, destroy the UC through force (the HN I did with stealth), and then see what's going on in the SE corner of the map. I have some ideas for subsequent playthroughs as well, maybe a small group of nomadic skeleton violent criminals/slavers, in league with the UC.

I think the biggest drawback to my first playthrough has been alienating both the HN and the UC before even speaking to them. Definitely keen to try a different approach next time.

Recently started a new skeleton only playthrough. I was weak during my previous attempt and started taking in Hivers, Beep being the gateway Hiver. Did a solo start this time because the "Nobodies" start makes the early game too easy. Also playing unmodded except for Living World.

Things were going well. But then the world seed seemed a little bit stingier with Skeleton recruits than I was expecting. More frustrating was seeing Skeleton drifters in UC bars with low enough stats to be recruitable but no option to speak. So I decided to see if I could do the knockout/slavery/buy method without going to war with UC way earlier than I wanted...

And what I learned is that as long as someone's faction tag says "Drifters", the UC does not give a shit if you knock them out and kidnap them. Their only reaction is to try to pick up the knocked out Drifter to enslave it for themselves. But no hostility towards the player. I've done it twice in UC bars with no problems. Recruited a P4 unit for the first time this way
Just a slightly inferior Skeleton unless you're going to craft with it
.

Tried the same thing on Skeleton Patron in the bar in Black Desert and that went differently because he is tagged to the "Skeletons" faction. The bartender chased me down and I had to fight him. I repaired the bartender after putting him down. He made it back home and there was no permanent faction reputation damage.

Yeah, I'm cheesing the game a bit. But such guilt is a small price to pay next to bringing the light of the Omnissiah to the world of Kenshi.

What is the meaning of this and how will this affect kenshi 2?

Without more context it doesn't really mean anything. He could still be working on the game, but just not have the legal title of Director. The cash accounts are more interesting... they have a pile of about £8m that hasn't changed much year-on-year.

Being a UK company director brings with it a load of administrative crap. Strong wager that these are moves to reduce that side of things so he can focus on the creative aspect.

He can focus full time to fixing the pathfinding. No point to Naruto-run if you cannot find the optimal route. I BELIEVE IN CHRIS.
