This might be of interest to some. Long time Jonathan Pageau "The Symbolic World" collaborator Richard Rohlin made an RPG setting. Both guys are Eastern Orthodox Christians, who discuss esoteric symbolism a lot in their podcast, and Rohlin wants to create something with similar mythic qualities as Tolkien. No idea if his setting succeeds, so be forewarned and forearmed. It seems like it might have a more goodly focus, for those weary of cynical RPG settings, which is why I mention it. Might be worth dropping some speculative cash on if you support that kind of endevour.

Too bad I missed that thread. I did put my money on this. I looked at the PDF and it looks decent but I need to take a deep dive in it and actually do a game in it to be sure.
