Is it just me, or are the days of massive epicness over; - at least for now?
During a not so hunge time period, amongst others titles like Shadowrun Returns, Shadowrun Online, Wasteland 2, Dead State, D:OS, PoE and even Torment were Kickstarted.
Lastly nothing similar seems to be happening. Or am I missing something here?
I mean yeah, InSomnia looks promising, After Reset might be intersting if it isn't a scam, but even if they turn out good, that's not the same as the calibers mentioned above.

Sorry, I won't add this, they say that the project is almost finished and this is why they ask for so little money, I am not convinced, seems more as a way to get additional funding hoping to get much more than asked.Solarix is a ‘psychological survival horror’ game featuring massively detailed open-ended levels encompassing both survival and stealth-gameplay styles.

Unreal 4 is a $19 a month subscription for developers, and they can sell the game if they give a 5% royalty of the gross revenue.
Unreal 3 is available for $99 and there is no payment until the game makes over $50k in gross revenue. Then a 25% royalty is due for money made over that amount.

The worst part is that the big hit just didn't seem to make that much of a wave. Did anyone do sequels? Why does Logic Artists work on some 3D stealth thingy, and Harebrained Scheme on some board game thingy?
