<A href="http://pc.ign.com/">PC.IGN</a> has posted a <A href="http://pc.ign.com/articles/385/385452p1.html">developer diary</a> of <a href="Http://www.swkotor.com">Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic</a>. This one covers character animation graphics. Here's a taste:

yeah man graphics are what make an RPG. look at the great graphics in PnP!

As much as I think Bioware are fucked and have no idea, I'd put money on the characters in KOTOR being more convincing than that fake Ryan Phillipe homme in Episode 2.

Given how animamatronic the acting in Episode 2 was, I'd say the "acting" in the game will be on par with the acting in that movie. Even Christopher Lee acted like crap in that movie, and he's a damned good actor.

Somehow I dislike this kind of feature in a game "rumored" to be a RPG. May be it's just me, but why the fuck would anybody want to move the fingers in a role-playing game?
Why were the resources (money, time, developers) wasted on this crap instead of polishing the story, quests, dialogues?

Probably because that would actually require knowing how to polish the story, quests, and dialogues. Gotta stick with what you know.
