On 13th April a landing site of a small UFO was detected. Due to the night time, it was decided against ground assault. After the UFO took off, it was destroyed by an Interceptor.

On 16th April, a small UFO was detected flying towards India. It was intercepted and destroyed.

On the same day, the AWACs over North Africa detected a small UFO. The UFO was destroyed by an Interceptor from Israel.

One Interceptor got heavily damaged. (I don't know how the hell it survived - Interceptors have max damage of 100 and Battleship's particle weapon has power of 500. It should have one-shotted the Interceptor :/ . I'll need to take a look at the code :/ .)

Here's a small experiment that I've done with a landed Battleship and a weapon that simulates the Avalanche missile.

A single hit. Power source is exposed by a hit in the centre of the hull.

I'm not sure if such holes would be enough to force the Battleship to land, but I suspect that a more damaged UFO wouldn't be able to land. Or would be so damaged that the damage should show up in the mission.

Part of the reason I decreased the damage of UFOs is that they aren't all shot up when landed, which means they don't have to receive major structural damage to land or rather can't land if they receive major structural damage.
