A quick ending (with a long ending screen at least...). Thanks for your LP :salute:

Personally I would like to see a LP of the sequel because I'm curious if it is any better. Maybe you could just start playing and see if it's improved enough to be worthwhile for you. 2 years ago, I fuddled around a bit with char creation but the only thing I remember is that there aren't as cool char portraits as in the first one. Yeah, I'm very helpful here :M

I suppose the translation of the dialog isn't very hard and only the planet descriptions are annoying. Just make a quick summary what type of planet it is.

Here's a walkthrough for the first one: http://rayearlesgamehelp.info/Wfiles/Whale's_Voyage.html
The computer storage data quest is described with a trap + tweaking a powerstation, too.
No mentioning of vibrators or aliens. It seems hot alien sex is out in the game but thank god future developers fixed that...

Meh. If you do the translations then yes. If not, what's the point?

Yup, if I LP it, I'll be doing the translation of course. (Shame on y'all for not being trained in the language of poets and philosophers, but whatever.) I just wonder if it's worth it, or should I move on to LPing a totally different game perhaps?

I dunno.

Yeah, I could do that, I guess.

I do know some German, but not enough to follow an LP without someone translating. I vote you play the sequel straight away to get the "series" completed. After that you can move on to fresh things without this prospect of playing the sequel weighing you down. But hey, it's your free time.

So, anyone still interested in seeing the sequel LPed? It's in German, mind you.
I am, feel free to translate only the necessary parts or gave us a resume, do what better suits you.

I'm totally touched by your concern, Orgasm-kun, but I assure you there's nothing to be worrying about. :P

And I'm not LPing full-time. I'm only in it as long as I'm having fun without sacrificing too many of my real-life duties and obligations and stuffies.

I tried importing our party in WV2, but unfortunately the level cap remains the same in the second game, and the party is imported at the highest level and with the same set of skills, which is meh.

I guess I'll need to create a new party, so I'll just choose four characters from among those who volunteered in the beginning of this LP but didn't make it in the WV1 party.

It's sad this one's over, it was a very entertaining read.

Do go on with the sequel if you think it's worth it, but I fully expect a translation at least half as funny as this game's.

Well, my English isn't exactly perfect, but no way I'll be able to reproduce the charming incoherence of this game's translation. :/

Right, caught up and finished this LP. Good read, thanks. Amusing game, if often unintentionally so.

The bureaucracy quest was my favorite.
