Another outpost?
Thanks for the feedback!
And let's continue:
Before going on to the next mission, let's equip ourselves a bit better
I got perfect weapons for everybody apart the ranger who gets a terrific heavy crossbow (couldn't find the highest quality for missile weapons yet)
Ok, we're in Hollengard (city of dwarves), let's drop by the ruler who will only speak with skilled fighters.
We actually get experience for that!
Anyway our (next) mission...
...involves another outpost
Yep! sounds right!
Orcs are quite sophisticated about their hobbies...
While some orcs have fun, others are slaving away
My first skeletons!
They're not tough...
This outpost has quite a variety in term of enemies
Yep they're supposed to be tough for my team
But that's if we forget about my monk...
This game is full of secret doors...
I wonder what's the point of hiding this part
I couldn't find anything, maybe it's for later?
As we explore the outpost we find a door...
We'll answer with the force!!
...Or maybe it was a bad idea
This fight is impossible for my current party
The walls are quite flat...
Interesting... I like these small descriptions that add a bit of credibility to these outposts
oh? This is the sound of bats
It managed to survive the full attacks of my knight armed with a good weapon!
No wonder I had trouble before with the 'clean the tower' mission!
We meet some new enemies...
These guys are well equipped... They carry 'terrific' weapons the level of quality just below 'perfection' which is the best. Thankfully my warriors are well equipped and make short work of them. This outpost is starting to feel a bit too high in level for a second mission... Well, maybe because it's for the dwarves...
Ouch!
Need to increase my perception and disarm/pick skills!
hmm... who can that be?
What is that? A golem?
It was a frost giant. I only managed to kill him because I managed to stun him with my monk! That was a tricky fight!
And we find a key
We will avenge you brother!
The other one didn't survive that long...
...but left us a nice shield
Ok we have the password
This door leads to stairs that lead to a lower floor where we find a lot of locked doors
Let's kill the traitors!
This trap is inescapable. One way to cheat and limit damage is to dismiss all the characters and leave the one with the best body development and dodge skills to take the damage
Yep he handled it well!
What's behind that door?
Ah ok...
Let's try our luck with this fight
A good way to get an idea on enemies is their attitudes: the fire giant is definitely superior to my team
The Ettin is at a level close to my party
And if the enemies are apprehensive like orcs are to my party, that means they're under-leveled and easy to kill
Clearly over-leveled...
The fire giant basically killed all my characters in one hit and I couldn't even touch him. This dungeon is definitely too difficult for my party... Will need to come back later.
I wonder if I was in the right dungeon... Even though it is to the north of Hollengard like the king said... I take a look around...
...and find another entrance very close to the dungeon that just destroyed my party!
Yet another outpost
This one seems to be the right one
Is it the right one? I don't know yet for sure, but I'll explore it when I get the chance!
