...which isn't necessarily "taken" or "broken" during sex either. Apparently, less than half, maybe as low as 30% of women bleed during their first (consentual) intercourse and the presence or lack of hymen isn't a good indicator of virginity.

Rapeplay, now that sounds like a fun game... I just don't think that rape can be made as fun in gameform as murder and pillage is, but maybe I'm just prude.

Mostly because there isn't actually a hymen intact. In fact it is rare for the hymen not be open, then it is an imperforate hymen. What is actually done during virginity is that the ridge of the remaining hymen material in the vagina gets brushed off during sex, which is what the blood and such tends to be.
