Right now? yes .... pretty much when there is no war going on its just a lot of events and you are not even seeing the "map" screen (Palace got one, just like the Village), it speeds up when there is a war and the end section is somewhat long.

Not the slowest part yet but the slowest part is offset but having a lot of funny events.
