I've been thinking about picking back up (i.e. redoing it) after I finish the game I'm currently playing.

Got really busy in life at the time, lots of changes, and setting up a Lets Play + translating took up time I just didn't have. (Didn't even have access to my PC for a few months when it stopped lol)

It was never made with an English translation (talked to Project Director) and the one torrent which claims English is long dead, the French version I already know about.

The Russian one I got is fine but still requires translating for the LP which takes time.

I got through chapter 1 so I can't say anything about the overall story, C&C or balancing but it has the janky charm in characters and atmosphere which is enough for me to get through a game and enjoy it (ex. Hard to be a God was one of my favourite games I played all year).

Combat is tactical and there's definitely a large variety in choices when building your PC.

In the end, I have decided to start it myself.

Spent the last 4 hours to figure out why the game started exceeding the screen borders and why it crushed every single time I tried to save.

Plus, french voice in the intro movie is very irritating. But we'll see.

You have to play around with resolution in the game files, I couldn't get it proper just in game. Will look for which file when I'm back on PC.

As for voice acting, you'll only have to deal with the dub on the intro cinematic and only a couple of other pre rendered movies. Rest of the game keeps the (pretty good) German voice acting with only text translated

Hey man, BIG ANNOUNCEMENT, I finally have found the English/hungarian verssion of the game with added teleportation button if you're stuck somewhere!!

This game will finally shine for the junk it is!!

I don't know why I felt in love with this game after the first screenshoot and it's months I'm trying to make it work and finally play it.

We found the file for it since, it's quite strange because it has unfinished english along the german and hungarian and quite hard to edit with a hex editor.

Glad to hear it, in the meantime if anyone has interest in the book series the game was based on there is a nice blog post in english about it. Sadly the books themself were never translated from Hungarian but they are iconic over here.
