Do we even know if the Watch is OK with our little friendly competition?
Larian said it's on.

That's rich, coming from Mr. "I post three different versions of my video in four different posts to maximize brofist gain" ;)
And yet I still lose. Can you see what odds I'm fighting here?
Do we even know if the Watch is OK with our little friendly competition?
Do they even have a choice?
Pretty sure that if they say they are not interested then it's a no go.
They are giving money for a watchtower, and it will be in-game. Everything else is just a fun bonuses. No backer bonuses has control over what Larian do with their in-game stuff (or worse, players). If you payed 5k to be a jailer, you know that some players WILL kill you.

Even if we lose, proud codexers will save the poor troll and burn the watchtower thensevles!

They are, just had a look at their donation thread and they're quite motivated to win:

I thought this site was for the more mature, established, audience and that the codex was full of immature folks who live in momma's basement. There are some major posters on RPGWatch that haven't given a dime, which is both amusing and disappointing.

Larian must be loving this.

Mom's basement has cheap rent, more money for RPGs :smug:

We should probably update the news post (or do a new one) and update the fund raiser target to $2500 + whatever else is needed to burn down the Watch.

No need for questlines, I like those WTF moments in games, when you just stop playing and stare at the screen, thiking on what the hell this means... sadly, since trolls are classic enemies and watchtowers are human things, most players will blindly rush into the troll, thinking they are o so heroic... so we must make sure the troll won't go down without a fight.

How about a multiheaded tick? You encounter it when wandering in the woods and it causes all kinds of status ailments.

Or a multiheaded pick (axe)?

Or an NPC named Rick with two heads, one of which is a transvestite?

How about a naturally multiheaded monster? One that even has the regenerative capabilities and weakness to fire that trolls have.

Make the heads argue with each other over inane questions (it would be a truly fearsome opponent if only they could agree on a plan of attack), and BLAM here's your Codex monster.

Head 1: Should we just tackle him, or something like that? What is the hivemind consensus?

Head 4: THERE IS NO SUCH THING! I AM AN INDIVIDUAL!

Head 3: I'm ignoring you two from now on.

Head 2: How typical. Your kind can't handle the heat.

I don't think they've added a swimming skill to the game. There would need to be some way to get the player to enter water for this to happen. In Action Adventure (Tomb Raider) this is common. But not so much in RPGs.

Well, the Hydra in the picture is aquatic, but that was just the first pic I found. A land-based one works just as well.

Jesus, people, you're like kids or something. Original Sin comes with a construction kit.

On our site, we have:
1) Donation System
2) Prosper

Combine 1 + 2 and get a "Kick Prosper off the site if he doesn't make us a gorgeous multiheaded beast for use in Original Sin" donation drive with a goal at whatever.

I tell you, guys, while Larian are bro and stuff, no-one is going to represent the multiheaded non-euclidian horror that is the MHD as well as Prosper can.

Also, updated my journal donation.

What we really need is some good propaganda posters. If only I had photoshop skills :(

Looks really nice. Just a nickpick: wonderful is with just one "L" at the end. Also, maybe the tower should be more damaged?
Wonder + Full = Wonderful ? Enlgish is such a retarded language...
I won't disagree with your assessment of the English language. However, strictly speaking, "wonderful" isn't actually directly formed from "wonder" + "full". It is a separate word that derives from an Old English word formed from "wunder" + "full".

Also, upped my donation slightly.
