It's not dead. It's just that the league is shattered by a heavy corruption scandal at the moment. Horrible stuff, really.

That concludes today's update. I know it's only two matches but better than nothing, eh?
You guys are on the decline and that's worrying. You need to step up your game if we want to play on top of the league! If we can't win the title this season, let us at least qualify for the champions league - this will get the money rolling in!
Stay tuned for the next update where we will have a fierce battle with Gamespot, insult even more people and do hard contract negotiations! (possibly LARPed)

Codexia vs Gameinformer
We start with a match against Gameinformer. As you can see Ulminati has taken Menck's spot in the first eleven for this game. Let's hope that he will deliver.
Also yeye will start a match since I need to rest sea
Alright everyone, we are on a good run so let's continue it by winning this game!
And the game starts off well! Ulminati puts the enemy defender under pressure and wins the ball. He immediately plays it to Jvegi
Who tries his luck but misses.
Instead, in the 20th minute...
Codexia 0 - 1 Gameinformer
Gameinformer had a corner
Yeye lost his aerial duel and the the opponent headed the ball across the line.
How unpleasant. But we are not impressed and continue with creating chances. Here shiteatingnippledick gives it a go but the keeper denies him.
Half time then.
Come on guys, what's up? Get yourself together, stop the mistakes and create more chances, you are very well capable of it!
We are starting the second half very well, with shitnipple getting the ball to yeye here, who then misses the goal unfortunately.
A few minutes later shitnipple needs to get substituted - he's injured. Hopefully nothing serious, we have lots of injured players already. Broseph comes into play (also he's completely unfamiliar with that position, hue)
The game is dragging on without much happening so it's time for a double substitution in the 69th minute. Ulmi and yeye out, Menckenstein and sea in. Yeye and Ulmi didn't really make use of their chances.
And lo and behold, only seconds after getting on the pitch...

Broseph played the ball to a bear named spigot
Who immediately passed it on to Jvegi
Jvegi then plays an excellent ball to Sea who did very well in getting rid of the defender
And Sea then puts it in the net!
But that was it, the game ends as a draw. Disappointing really.
This was a shameful display! Sure, you managed to equalize but come on, we should have won this game easily! Pull yourselves together, damn it!
A very even game stats wise, as the result is showing.

In the pre-match press conference I try to make the next opponent bigger than they are in hopes of making them nervous.
Also I make fun of their lousy defense. Gotta make friends everywhere you go!
Of course I insult the EDGE's manager too.

Ulminati gets another chance as a forward, raw is also back in the team to replace shitnipple.
Jim the Dinosaur will take abns' place and sea is back in the first eleven.

In the 17th minute free kick expert Sea is getting ready from a good position.
He manages to get it over the defensive wall but right into the arms of the keeper.
A little over 10 minutes later we have another great chance. Sea gets forward and plays the ball to Jvegi who made his way into the penalty area.
Jvegi takes a shot but gets denied by the keeper. We are starting to miss out on chances a lot, this is not good.
Sea then takes another free kick which gets cleared to a corner.
And then...

DDZ scores!
Corner specialist Raw took the corner
And got the ball to DDZ who rose into the air like Michael Jordan
Very nice!
EDGE has a couple of chances too, like this harmless freekick.

And we start out furiously! Zdzisiu with the goal on his feet, but the ball skims the top bar and gets across.
But EDGE is getting better. Here we lose the ball in midfield and EDGE switches immediately to fast attacking play.
The opposing striker gets into the penalty are and almost equalizes, stabby is already beaten but the post denies him, thank god.
Time for a substitution, we mustn't give the game away at this point! Ulmi is out, Menck comes in. I'm sorry Ulmi, but you had your chances
Also zwanzig_zwoelf has picked up a knock, let's hope it's nothing serious. I let him play on for now.

I can't even rage anymore. I'm just sad and frustrated at this point.
DDZ gets a yellow card for arguing with the ref. But all the arguing won't help, it was actually DDZ' own fault. Here he loses the ball to the opposition.
It all went very quickly from here. The ball was passed a few stations and then hammered into the net. Sucks. And all the time the game reminded me of DDZ' yellow card. Very nice.
We are not playing good after that. Our first real chance is created in the 85th minute. We need to hurry up! Jvegi plays the ball to Menck who gets denied by the goalkeeper. Damn!
Crap, this is going to end in a draw, but then...

THE GOAL GETS DISALLOWED
This has to be a joke. This is a plot against the great Codexia FC! And it's a wrong decision! It wasn't offside! That's the moment the pass is played. Menck is clearly on one line with the defenders!
This is an outrage!
That's it, the game is over afterwards, it ends 1-1 thanks to a horrible referee! This will have consequences (possibly with me getting banned)!
Sure, we got denied of that goal and it's a joke. I will file a protest on this but still you HAD to win this! They were the second to last team! What is wrong with you, are you already exhausted so early into the season?!
Stats are completely even again. This new tactic still isn't quite it yet.
