Rise and Fall Civilizations at War wasn't half bad actually. It's definitely not a classic, but it's good for what it is. It could have been better had they focused entirely on the RTS elements and dropped the 3rd person hero mode, though.

So I've started playing around with the Age of Decadence demo a bit. It might be too early to say for sure, but it seems to be incline.

I do remember an old adventure game , semi textual (sierra-like) in EGA from some Shareware CDs which started in a roman mansion. I think it started with you being in bed with your wife. Does anyone know what I'm talking about ?​
